Party Central Patio

To update the exterior of the home I replaced the white brick with a veneer faux stone. It adds depth, warmth and brings it to the 21st century. The dark green kahki paint color really updates the exterior. Painting the trim adds so much interest to the home along with painting the pergola. Adding the stone veneer to the base of the pillars really grounds the space. What a inviting welcome to this split level 70's home!

For the after photo look on top of blog, you can see I added a arched stone wall for extra seating and a stone patio space for gatherings. On the left corner of home I designed a small pergola and fence placed around the garden, painted it white to mimick the pergola on the other corner of the home, making it a cohesive outdoor space.

We also highlight local businesses in the metro area. I had such a great time filming this with the wonderful head producer Jayne Ubl. A day as a designer for DIY Netork shows

Today I went to shoot day 2 for Bathtastic. Picked out a dark gray color for walls. In process of installing beautilful butter limestone for floor, shower walls with and accent silver foiled glass subway tile - It is going to be a modern, masculine, with soft buttercream tiled bathroom. Can't wait until the contractor "Jimmy" finishes the custom designed (by me) slate tiled floating 2 shelved vanity. Topped with a white semi-vessel sink! Having custom mirror made, frameless, wall sconces and wall mounted faucet cut into mirror! Can't wait to show you some photos... Here is one - not too exciting a in the process photo! Can't really show you any more until show airs! Bummer...... Maybe some behind the scenes!
